Civil Ceremonies

Carton House, a HSE Registered venue for Civil Ceremonies, is the perfect location to celebrate your Civil Partnership.

The stunning Manor House is perfect for ceremonies of 30 to 60 guests.

For ceremonies up to 80 guests, the Princess Grace Suite or the Lady Granville Suite are our perfect spaces filled with natural light and the perfect setting for your special day. Both spaces feature a private lounge and decking area with stunning views of the estate vistas.

For ceremonies over 80 guests, the opulent surroundings of the Carton Suite is the perfect venue, with a private pre-drinks area and outdoor terrace.

Outdoor locations in our beautifully manicured gardens also available.

For couples wishing to have a Civil Partnership in the Republic of Ireland you must first make an appointment to give notification of your intention to marry to a Registrar. You must give at least 3 months notification to a Registrar in person and this can only be done by appointment. It is advisable that once your wedding date is booked you make an appointment with a Registrar as soon as possible to ensure availability.

To do this, couples should contact their local Civil Registration Office or Health Service Executive (HSE) headquarters.
