Over the centuries, Carton House has hosted a number of legendary events as well as many intimate gatherings with skill and style. Now, your celebration can also join this wonderful tradition. We are pleased to confirm that Carton House is a fully registered venue for civil ceremonies. There are a number of location options across the resort for you to host your all-important nuptials.

Pre Wedding Day Celebrations

A pre-wedding day celebration is a wonderful way for your guests to get to know each other, creating a greater camaraderie and atmosphere on the big day itself. We have an outdoor terrace in The Carriage House, the courtyard outside The Courtyard Bar and beautiful private terraces outside or private event spaces, all ideal spaces for a BBQ. The Duke's Study, The Tyrconnell or the Gold Salon can all be booked for a more intimate private dinner, minimum numbers apply.

Your Own Fairytale at Carton

PALLADIAN MANOR HOUSE | Minimum 30 guests & Maximum 60 guests

For guest parties of less than one hundred people, this location offers an unrivalled history and grandeur. Ideal for more intimate celebrations, parties can host the ceremony, dinner and evening reception here. Guests can enjoy the beautiful rose garden views of the estate.

CARTON SUITE | Minimum 60 guests & Maximum320 guests

For guest parties of more than one hundred people, the Carton Suite, with a private pre-drinks area and terrace, brings space and glamour. The most wonderful day turns into the most enchanting night; natural daylight means you stay attuned to the rhythms of the evening and of the occasion.

Post Wedding Day Celebrations

The day after your wedding is almost as special as the big event. Spending precious time with close family and friends, sharing memories and recanting stories from the day before.

At Carton House, we have a wide range of on resort activities, from award winning golf courses and falconry to sumptuous afternoon tea, and rejuvenating Carton House Spa packages giving you the freedom to create your own custom package.

After a busy day of activity across the 1,100-acre estate, choose from our range of unique dining options. Indulge your guests with a private dinner or take in the breath-taking views with a barbeque. Please note, minimum numbers of 30 guests required for this.
