Following on from the resounding success of previous year’s exhibitions and The Kildare Gallery’s silver medal winning outdoor sculpture garden at Bloom 2016, The Kildare Gallery’s Vanishing Art exhibition makes its third annual appearance at Carton House. This exclusive celebration of art welcomes sculptures and paintings from esteemed artists including Orla de Bri, Carolyn Mulholland, Stephanie Hess, Bob Quinn, Patrick O’Reilly, Leo Higgins and Alva Gallagher.
Monica O’Byrne, Director of Sales and Marketing at Carton House said:
“Carton House is very happy once again to welcome the return of the exclusive Vanishing Art exhibition and its acclaimed artists to the resort to share their works with our guests and visitors. Through the success of Vanishing Art, we were proud to work with its curator Ken Folan and business partner Ruth Liddle to introduce a more permanent fixture, The Kildare Gallery, instilling our commitment to and support for the arts.”
Ken Folan, Curator of Vanishing Art exhibition and Co-Founder of The Kildare Gallery said:
“I am overwhelmed with the recognition Vanishing Art has received to-date and to be in a position to host it at the magnificent Carton House for a third time. The calibre of artists and sculptors we have involved is outstanding and I am delighted to be able to once again put on a world class showcase of art free of charge to the public.
Our last Vanishing art exhibition welcomed over 100,000 visitors and this year is set to be even bigger. As a natural progression from Vanishing Art, we are proud to be celebrating our first year of The Kildare Gallery at Carton House. Located in the old Steward’s House, dating from the late 1800s, the gallery captures the natural, artistic ambience of Carton House, and seamlessly integrates all that modern art has to offer.”
