May I most sincerely congratulate you on the most amazing service we received from Mari Lopez and Arthur. They were the most professional people I have ever dealt with! Carton House and the grounds are fabulous - but the place would be worthless were it not for Mari! Congratulations to whoever hired both Mari and Arthur - they approached absolutely everything with a positive attitude. No job was to much for them. Not only are the absolute professionals - but they are such nice people too. I haven't stopped talking about them - and every guest remarked on the level of service at the hotel. If I might be so bold as to offer some advice - NEVER let them go. They were superb.

Also Arthur the manager who took over in the evening was just brilliant. He was always, always on hand to offer any help at all. Several people remarked that the waiters almost never left the table - a terrific job!!

From the moment we arrived at Carton House, we were greeted with Champagne and smiles. It is truly a magical venue. So full of character, yet refined and elegant.

From the reception in the old rooms to the fine dining in the ballroom, we couldn't have asked for more, even the sun shone for us in the gardens. 

I know most couples say the food was excellent, and in this instance we can honestly say it was amazing. Perfectly cooked and presented, all the courses were piping hot and the service was excellent. The guests dined on chicken and mushroom vol-u-vents, spicy sweet potato and coconut soup, fillet of beef or monkfish and an assiette of desserts. The waiters were so attentive. To look around at a room full of 150 people and to see how everyone was being looked after is a credit to the high level of training and experience of the staff.

The icing on the proverbial wedding cake has to be the bridal suite. It is simply out of this world, one could happily live there for the rest of their married lives.
